Description :

This control panel in the Altitude Wind Tunnel's soundproof control room was used to control the engine being tested in the tunnel. Engine fuel flow, speed, cooling, and other aspects were controlled from this station. This photograph was taken during the testing of the Lockheed XR-60 in Novemebr 1945.
